Vehicle Detail
2001 BMW 325xi (AWD) wagon$3750 or best offerHas a ton of miles- 172k - but is in great shape. Excellent car- I'd be keeping it if I weren't getting a newer model of exactly the same car from the same person I bought this one from. Gray with black interior, power everything, heated seats, sunroof, cruise, all normal luxury car stuff. in good mechanical shape and has been well-cared-for its entire life. I personally know everyone who's ever driven it and have full history and service records, etc. Good tires, up to date on maintenance, etc. Here are ALL of the car's current issues. This is everything that I'm aware of and it's always (and recently) been serviced and checked out by NY Mag "best of' winning mechanic. -- One of the headlight bulb sensors is bad, which means that sometimes when it gets hot one of the headlights goes out. -- The oil change light (yellow) comes on despite the oil pressure being fine- this has been checked out and there's nothing wrong. All it means is you need to keep track of when you're due for an oil change (only need to do it every 15k miles on BMWs). $750 to fix, but unnecessary.-- Check engine light is permanently on because the sensor that determines whether the mixture of oxygen in the fuel is correct or not is itself screwy (oxygen mixture itself is fine- again, nothing actually wrong with the car, just the sensor). -- Cosmetics: some scratches on both passenger side doors, a dent near the front driver's side wheel, small dent near BMW logo at front, small rust spot on the back hatch where the rear wiper touches at the bottom of the rear windshield, another small one at rear passenger side wheel well- both easily removed and touched up.
