Vehicle Detail
This Range Rover is in very good condition. The paint is fading but is still intact; no bare spots. Hi/low AWD works. The vehicle is a daily driver and is very reliable and holds the road straight. It has a new steering gearbox, steering stabilizer, all 4 coil springs and shock absorbers, fuel pump, new commercial-grade tires have only 5K miles on them, new fan clutch, rear brake pads, new right side exhaust manifold gaskets and manifold. No rotten floor pans or body panels; has running boards which could use sandblasting and new paint, has front & rear light guards, custom-made front brushguard/winch bumper which utilized the original front bumper with it, so looks very good, has 12000 lb winch. It has working power seats and front power windows. The cruise control's spiral cassette was removed from steering column; needs replacing. The A/C is complete but leaks out after a couple days. The interior is complete and not missing any switches or panels; new headliner. Truck is 25 years old so it can be sold overseas as well. Odometer is original mileage at 118K. Under the hood is very clean with many original labels and decals intact. All lighting works. Door jambs are free of rust. Just the rear tailgate window trim is starting to rot; common problem for these trucks at this age. Hoping to get $3400 for truck, with winch system and all these new parts. Truck is not limited to just backwoods off road use. Truck is capable of long daily driving if necessary. These trucks are tanks off road and in snow as well. Has original spare tire and full size wheel. As an antique, it could draw a lot of value to the right owner. A cheap paint job and sandblasting the running boards would really make this truck look as good as it runs. Summary of not working items: cruise control, rear power windows (bad relay somewhere?), AC leaks, faulty original radio (screeches at times), slight left-side exhaust manifold leak, drivers door has minor tree branch mark (only dent on whole truck). New parts, between now and the last 8K miles: tires, fuel pump, cleaned fuel tank, shocks, coil springs, steering gearbox, steering stabilizer, engine fan clutch, right-side exhaust manifold and gaskets, rear brake pads, right-front floor pan, A/C receiver/drier and hose, front windshield, and front wheel alignment. These have cost around $2100, plus another $800 for the new winch and custom-made brushguard incorporated into the original bumper.
