This is my history of repairs – parts replaced and maintenance since I’ve owned it: 2009 - (56,000 miles) new Gas Tank and Fuel Pump 2010 (57, 000miles) Front Brakes, Rear Drive Shaft 2011 (58,000 miles) Battery, Starter, Full Tune-Up – Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, pcv valve, rotor, serpentine belt, oil – oil filter, Rear Bakes and Emergency brake cable, Power steering pump, 3 P/S lines and cooler unit, Front end – 4 ball joints, 2 stabilizer links, 1 idle arm Front driver side axle, Front Drive Shaft, Coolant System Flush, Crankcase and drive, differentials fluid changes (3), Transmission Fluid changed, Tailgate latch and passenger side closure units replaced, Front Bumper 2012 (59,000M) Rear Bumper and new trailer electrical jacks, Replaced two transmission lines and flushed / replaced fluid, Installed Beacon Flashing Light with Switch 2013 (60,500M) New Muffler, Rear left brake line replaced, 2 new rear wheel cylinders, Oil and filter change, 2 new front wheel hubs and brake sensors 2014 (61,800M) $1000 weld repairs frame and front end at plow, water pump, 4 shocks, 2 front rotors and pads, Front left upper ball joint, 2 tranny cooling lines, As you can see I don’t really put any miles on the truck so it sits idle and that may be part of the problem. The truck will start right up even if not started for weeks. The engine runs smooth and idles fine. Plow works with no issues (I have not had to do any maintenance on the plow). The couple issues as mentioned in this add are - STARTER GETS HOT AFTER USE AND NEEDS TO COOL DOWN SOMETIMES BEFORE RESTARTING (TRUCK STARTS RIGHT UP EVEN IF NOT USED FOR WEEKS - SOMEONE SUGGESTED THE HEAT DEFLECTOR IS MISSING – starter has been replaced twice in 5 years), HESITATION SOMETIMES WHEN SHIFTING INTO DRIVE – only when first started, DOES NOT SLIP, JUST HESITATION - MAY NEED TRANNY SERVICE, FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT WORK BELOW HALF TANK; and It could also use 4 new tires. You can come by and look at the truck and drive it.
