Up for sale is a 1949 Chrysler New Yorker. It has the original 8 cylinder and original Fluid drive transmission - Both work wellThe car still retains its 6 volt charging systemRadio is also there in the car (looks original)The car drives great. No issues with shifting, lights etc. It was used for the occasional evening drivesPaint looks like a shad of grey. The paint inside and outside is same. There are chips in the paint in areas and over time it was painted over in the small areasIt is not a show car, but is complete and not a rust bucketOriginal wheel caps and white wall tires. Spare tire in the bootInterior is good with red cloth (almost like velvet). Do not see any tears in the headliner. Seats are in good shape. The door panels are good too. There is a leather piece on the dashboard. This has come out a little and will need to be re-glued backAll glass/windows are good. Windows roll up and down fineOriginal steering wheel - Seems bakelite. No visible cracksClear Michigan title. Stored indoors at end of August. Mileage shows 12850, but not sure if this is actual given age of the car. I have taken a picture of the odo.
