Vehicle Detail
We are dropping down to a one car family, so we are selling this beautiful convertible Saab. This is the Aero model, which has the significantly upgraded engine (2.8 liter 6 cylinder, not the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder in the regular 9-3 line), and all the special ammenities and sports packages. The two tone leather seats are beautiful, and the body color is a striking blue. Automatic transmission. Repairs since I bought her: Repaired/repainted left rear fender due to a 3" diameter delaminating paint/plastic bubble (2014), new tires (2014), new battery (2014), A/C systems check in (2014), throttle body reset/reprogrammed(2013), main battery switch replaced (2012). The real deal: This is a rebuilt title. She experienced some body panel and bumper damage sometime before 2012, and the insurance company wrote her off, but an enterprising mechanic fully restored her. We have not experienced any significant mechanical problems from the repaired damage. NO WATER DAMAGE, just some body panel type work. The only thing we had to fix was the trunk latch, which had not been tightened down sufficiently, it is good to go now. When I listed this for the first time last month there was a 3" diamter spot on the rear right fender above the wheel well with paint and body work delamination from perhaps bad fiberglass/plastic panel repair: I have since repaired this problem at a professional body paint shop. The electric top works great, and the car has power everything. This is the fourth Saab we have owned, and without reservation I can say it has been the most impressive. Shipping/pick up: Buyer is responsible for pick up, but I will be happy to work with your shipper to arrange pick up and loading. On Dec-29-14 at 15:47:28 PST, seller added the following information: We are dropping down to a one car family, so we are selling this beautiful convertible Saab. There is a shallow, hand sized indentation on the back right quarter panel, looks like something one of those suction cup dent removers I see advertized on TV could take care of. There is also a crack in the plastic cover to the left rear turn signal/break light cover. The electric top works great, and the car has power everything.
