2004 MONTE CARLO SS: Sadly she must go. I tried desperately to keep he going but she got the best of me. Still runs but had an incident coming home on the LIE. Now it has what I believe is a very noticeable rod knock. Recently I put a new intake manifold on the engine, new fuel pump with sender unit (now the gas gauge works!). Some small dents and rust as shown. No accidents. had a hit and run on the front fender with my car on the receiving end. Had her running for about 5 minutes yesterday. Oil pressure starts off around 2 o'clock on the gauge and settles about 11 o'clock. Some fluctuations while running possibly due to the bad bearing or bearings. The following appliances/accessories do not work; rear window defroster radio and CD player Audible chimes Traction control system/ ABS Drivers heated seat Dashboard Lights tranny was rebuilt about a year ago ($1,700.00). Still under warranty but not sure about it now. Will demonstrate if necessary. I would rather someone use it for parts than scrap it completely. All reasonable offers considered. thanks for listening !!!
