Vehicle Detail
Saab : 9-2X Aero Wagon 4-Door Auto Trans Desert Silver Metallic (AWD.) This car has a blown motor and will be sold in "as-is" condition. Clean title in hand. The car is at about 144,000 miles. 2.0L DOHC 227 HP 4 Cylinder Turbocharged. Features include leather interior, power moonroof, HID headlights,Wheels: 17" x 7" Twin 5-Spoke Alloy with P215/45R17 High-Performance tires. I have included some exterior pictures (cell phone) so you can see the main areas of body flaws including: some cracking in the paint/plastic at the front/lower spoiler, a ding (dent) behind the gas filler area, along with assorted flaws on the roofline, etc. Overall the body looks decent but could use some repair (as noted.) No accidents to note (body and frame are straight.) The interior is in decent condition with no major tears in the leather. The leather is black/tan (nice color combo.) The car will have the stock radio when sold, but has aftermarket speakers in the factory locations (using proper spacers, etc - doors not hacked up.) This could make a nice car for a motor swap, racing setup, or just put a new motor in it. It may have a bad wheel bearing or just need a new rear tire (sound coming from rear left wheel area.) Also, the brakes are close to needing replacement. I will not ship this vehicle. Buyer will be responsible for pick-up, towing, shipping (however you plan to take the vehicle.) Thanks for your interest. On Dec-26-14 at 13:04:37 PST, seller added the following information: Note: The catalytic converter will also need replacement. Please, note that this car may have other potential areas of repair (we are not a mechanic) but the identified areas are those that we are aware of. We are doing our best to provide information about the overall condition of the car, but will emphasize that the car is being sold as-is. If you have any further questions, please contact me. Thank you. On Dec-27-14 at 09:41:50 PST, seller added the following information: It is my wife's car. We bought it new. It's a well used family car. The interior is in "decent" (somewhere between fair and good) condition for a car of this age. As stated, due to the current location of the car (at a shop not close to our residence and parked in by other cars) we won't be able to get any good photos of it at this time. However, we want to give as much info as possible. Here is my best description of interior condition, per my recollection: The leather seats are used, but no rips/tears. The driver seat has more wear along the side of the lower bolster near the door as most older cars with leather seats do (where you enter/exit), but the bolster is still shaped properly (not collapsed or dented.) The passenger seat has less wear (less use) including the bolsters. They are both relatively clean on the seating surfaces, including the tan areas. The back of the front seats (facing the rear seat) will likely need cleaning from kids' feet resting on them; the marks mostly/if not completely came out last time I had them cleaned. The rear seat has a few light indentations from previous use of car seats but now relatively minor (since the car seats haven't been used in at least a year now - the seats have mainly returned to their form.) The carpet and mats show some wear from use but no significant holes, tears or stains; they particularly could use a good vacuum and possibly a shampoo. The drivers floor mat shows the most wear and could use a replacement if you want. The dash doesn't have any major fading or cracks. The only main area of fading (and a dent) from my recollection is the rear cargo cover (which works but could use replacement if you want looking newer.) The last time I had the interior detailed (incl. carpet and leather conditioning) it looked pretty nice - quite presentable. There should be no major repairs needed to the interior to bring it to nice (but used) condition. It shows pretty well when cleaned. Great color combo.
