I have to offer a 1978 F150 **(Project truck) Selling As Is ** 36 years old.. MUST READ The original odometer read 02164 and only goes up to 99,999 so I assume it has 102164 miles on it or greater. I've enjoyed my old truck.. In the past 4 years this truck became a hobby and I have not finished it and have to sell it .. Though it might need rear tires and a battery , it still needs someone who knows a little mechanics who can get it going . It has never been broken in or driven from the spot it's in for 4 years. It thoughly fullfilled it's duty as a truck and later just a hobby .. I've had it 14 years 　 This needs to be towed and move the front tires to the back to tow it ... There is no rear tires or battery and the gas tank has been totally drained and cleaned ... Yes it needs to be towed . With that in mind understand this is a 36 year old > project truck sold as is and has to be picked up and towed .. I've enjoyed my time using it and having something unique . In 4 more years it will be 40 years old and it's a body style that's stuck inbetween new and old ..You don't think of it being old but near 40 years old , it is ...It's very old.. 　 　 The fallowing discription to the best of my knowledge is correct to detail. The general discription is >> 1978 F150 Custom with a 300 6 cylinder engine . Am radio, NO power steering and NO A/C. 　 　 Starting with the bottom chassis I have thoroughly cleaned primed and repainted front to back. Installed Front : NEW Front Shocks Gabriel NEW Front Brake Pads NEW Brake calliper hoses Used Tires front ,Serviceable Installed Mid Frame: NOS NEW Gas tank sending unit New Rear universal joint Rear Frame: (NOTES) Rear axle>Ratio- Unknown ,may need adjusting or service Rear Brakes > Used fair condition , Serviceable Rear Shocks > air shocks used , serviceable Rear tires > NO REAR TIRES > It DOES have ALL 4 rims YES , and YES it Does have a nice set of Dog Dish Hub caps. Frame Bottom- No missing bolts or hardware detected Exhaust : (NOTES) NON Catalitic Manifold exhaust pipe > Used fair condition, Muffler , Used fair condition, needs attention replace or repair Exhaust pipe rear > Very good used condition Electrical wiring : (Notes) Reshielded with NEW flex conduit Light sockets may need upgrading to plastic Installed New: NEW Battery cables wire Connectors : Original to Harness > Plastic connectors are in fair to good shape Printed circuit: Dash Cluster , Used good condition The discription of the cab and body to the best of my obility is accurate as fallows .. I found non critical collission damage to the drivers side mid side between the door jam and back wheel well.. Shallow dents on top ridge of the bed ,sides and cab. Penitratig rust in the passenger side front floor pan,also in top of door jam at drip molding area. Penitating rust in drivers rear behind back rear wheel and rear bumper. Overall conditon of cab and bed needed repair ..
