I purchased the truck in August, 2012. Engine: had been rebuilt in the past and bored 060 over; compression all cylinders 100 to110 and converted to 12 volt with electric fuel pump. I installed new oil pump, correct oil pan, new starter and aluminum heads. Installed 4” dropped axle and rebuilt front end. Installed a used repop grill. Interior: added insulation and C&G interior kit. Installed used bucket seats. Changed out steering wheel. Used aluminum rims with new tires (front) (rear). Replaced the wood between frame and body. New master cylinder and rebuilt 4 brake cylinders. Installed 4 new shocks. Starts and runs good. Body is in good shape. I planned on having a good paint job, so I removed all fenders, running boards and hood. Recently I purchased another project car and decided to let someone else finish the truck. I re-installed fenders and running boards with just a few bolts; truck is operational.
