1966 Ford Mustang Vin 6T07T268946 Assembly plant - Metuchen , New Jersey Body codes - 07 Hardtop , Engine Code - T I6 200 CID 1V ( CID cubic inch displacement ) , Unit # 237453 This is a 1966 mustang Coupe sprint 200 Automatic. Paint code "P" Antique Bronze. Overall interior is 8 out of 10. Repainted once in its life same paint is about 34 yrs old and is 7-8 out of 10. It looks great but is by no means a show quality $10k Paint job. It is however mechanically perfect. Everything works as it should. You can get in and drive this car anywhere and use it as a daily driver. Purchased the car from the original owner ( my uncle ) making me the second owner all information listed is described to the best of my knowledge please see car in person and test drive if serious about buying. Engine: *The following is all brand new . Engine 70,000 miles with 150xx on chassis. Pics to show engine rebuilt ( cell phone pics of old Polaroids ) . Original motor rebuilt in 1980's, Driven for 60,000 then garaged since . Driven on weekend cruises when weather is nice and summer car shows. Battery Alternator Water Pump Thermostat Plugs , wires , ignition points and condenser Belt Fuel Filter Air Filter Gas Tank and Sending unit Starter with wiring leading to batt. Body/Mechanical: *The following is new unless otherwise noted. Tires Wheel Cylinders Brake Shoes Shocks front & Rear Transmission tail seal -with rebuild Transmission filter & fluid - recently done Kick down shifter seal and o-ring - recently done Rear end seal - with rebuild Trunk kit with untouched original tire Trunk drop off panel was replaced on driver side Entire chassis / frame gone over with POR15 and sealed. ----- Bad: Exterior trim showing pitting on chrome , I do have a new rear bumper still in box not installed. Trunk outter panel has a small dent close to the gas filler cap, about the size of a quarter. Interior: *The following is new unless otherwise noted Carpet is new, seats are clean with no rips or tears, headliner is in tack with two small patches in rear , Front dash showing signs of warpage , blower works in all modes , all gauges function as should, radio no mods made to dash I have original photos for the engine which was completely rebuilt some years ago but the car only drove for short while after the rebuild and has very low miles on it as you can see by removing the valve cover it looks brand new, It runs great and purrs quite nicely. Odometer reads 150K. There is some slight surface pitting on vent window trim of the car but nothing is rotted or in need of repair. All exterior / cosmetic trim should be replaced if looking for show quality. I have a brand new rear bumper not installed still in the box.
