Just picked this Baja up a few weeks ago, and didn't think it out...I need my garage space back! Since I got her I Plasti Dipped™ almost the entire body in flat camo tan. The body is in excellent condition. The floor pans have been replaced/patched and are now solid. The tires look new to me and are worth about $600. The Baja kit costs about $1,200. The engine is a 1968-69 1500 SP and runs well. The sale of the car includes $90 worth of new tune up parts not yet installed (plugs, wires, cap, rotor , cap, condenser and wires). The windshield has a crack in it. There are no turn signals on the body. The wiring was gutted at one time and a very high end $400 fuse box and wiring kit installed that is only about half completed. Brakes work, but need bleeding/ adjusting. They stop the car fine. Transmission shifts fine. I also replaced the rear window pop out seals with new ones from Wolfsburg West. Check out my feedback ratings...over 700 and 100% positive. Read the comments as well and bid in confidence. This car is nowhere near a perfect vehicle but an outstanding platform for use as an off roader or to build a better Baja, especially at the price. Especially if you're east of the Mississippi where these Bajas are virtually non existent.On Dec-07-14 at 06:38:08 PST, seller added the following information: Previous owner welded new seat brackets in the heat channel. Needs a small patch repair if you plan on using heat.
