Vehicle Detail

Selling the last of my Cornbinders. I've owned around 80 of them, even had 27 all at one time, but life moves on, and my last one has to find a new home. This truck drove easily, very nicely, you'd never tell it doesn't have power steering. Also, it rides VERY nicely - smooth, no jolt, rides like a Lincoln! Clean, clear Florida title. Listing made me enter a number for miles - I do not know how many miles are on it, but I do remember it not being very many - I think, if I recall right, it's around 65,000 miles. This truck has been parked for 15 years on Uncle Joe's farm near Washington, Iowa 52353. It ran well when I parked it - I lost my farm in a divorce and had to leave the state, so left it at Uncle Joe's. It was freshly and completely serviced when I parked it. All fluids, brakes cleaned, inspected, adjusted. The steering is perfect, NO slop, steers easy and straight. The transmission is perfect, NO noise, feel each detent as you shift. Clutch is fine. Rearend is perfect. in desireable 3.73:1 ratio!!! Most of these had "mountain climber gears of 4:56 or higher. You'll have to haul it home - brakes and fuel system will have to be gone through because it has sat for 15 years. There is rust where you expect it to be in these trucks. Front fenders near door crack, a bit in the bottom rear of the bed, a touch in the cab corners, and the driver's floor has a hole that a license plate will cover. No tailgate, no front bumper. The interior is rough. Seat needs to be re-covered, no headliner. Glass will need to be buffed/polished, but is all intact. There is a big tractor on premises to help with loading. If any further questions, you are welcome to call me at (352) 615-4790 and I will give you answers. On Dec-04-14 at 22:43:23 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to state - bed floor is in good shape. Also, I know of a good late model engine (304) with hardened seats and valves that can also be had within about 60 miles of the truck. Engine in the truck is the original, and doesn't have hard seats or valves. On Dec-05-14 at 13:38:07 PST, seller added the following information: Further note: The truck has been sitting at Uncle Joe's for 15 years. He's not concerned with when you can pick it up. It could sit there until spring, and he wouldn't care. When payment clears, I will give you his phone number and directions to his farm. There are ditches that a trailer could be backed into to load, and tractors to help with loading, but Uncle Joe is 82, so he will operate the equipment ONLY - if you'll need physical help, you'll have to either bring it, or hire it locally. On Dec-08-14 at 17:07:24 PST, seller added the following information: By the way, I just wanted to add - this isn't the dregs of a former collection - this is the one that I always kept back to restore for my old age. Only reason I left this one behind was because I couldn't drive two, and I had a '68 1300 4X4 at that time that I'd gone completely through. On Dec-10-14 at 19:18:31 PST, seller added the following information: Just so ya know, this truck was never junked, was never junk. It was loved and used until it was parked. Only reason for this sale is that I had a career ending neck injury, my health isn't what I'd hoped for, and I need money. I see one similar listed for over $2000 currently - several listed in various venues for similar money. I sure hope that the 'Binder community will return some of what I've done for it here in this auction. I restored and parted trucks for many years, doled out free experience and tech info - still do. I sure do hope n pray that this last truck brings what it's worth on today's market........ Thanks, Folks!
