For sale is a 1994 Jeep Wrangler S (I think it is a model S). 2.5L 4 cylinder engine, 4x4, hardtop, automatic transmission. Jeep has just under 96000 on it. I got it in non-running condition after it sat for 5 years. I repaired the computer, siphoned out the old gas, put in new gas w/ a heavy dose of seafoam and it started ran rough backfired but held a rough idle. So I got new coil, plugs, gas filter, distributor, spark plugs, crank sensor, temperature sensor, air intake sensor, vacuum tube from valve cover to throttle body, removed cleaned throttle body, replaced fuel filter (fuel lines were replaced in last several years) and it ran worse. So I think I installed the distributor off timing, so I pulled it and put it back in and it fired and idled but died and now wont restart. I think it is a timing issue but I do not know. I have never had this jeep on the road so information I have is limited. Interior is in good condition and floor by driver's side is surface rust only and could be cleaned up easy. VIN: 1J4FY19P5RP450220 The body is in good shape for the year has a dent on the passenger side fender and some surface rust spots I have not found any rot on the body. Frame has scale rust but surprisingly I have not found the typical Jeep rot through on the frame. Lights, horn, radio seem to work may need a bulb here or there. Hardtop appears to be in good shape. Tires are older but are studded snows with good thread, I do not see any signs of dry rot. What this jeep needs to the best of my knowledge: Lock cylinders installed in doors: I do not have the door keys. I have two new door lock cylinders w/ keys not installed to go with the jeep. It will need the tailgate lock cylinder, it is locked and I cannot open it. Drivers side door needs window regulator installed window glass is loose, I have a new one to go with the jeep. Passenger door needs new handle does not work. Battery: the battery in the jeep does not go with it. I have a dead battery you can take if you want it for the core $ when you get a new one. Rear brake line has a rusted hole and it should have all the lines replaced along with the brakes replaced. Jeep is sold with a bill of sale only (see VT DMV website vehicles 15 years of older do not need title). Sold as is where is no warranty and bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect prior to bidding. Paypal deposit of $250 in 24 hrs of auction close. Jeep needs to be removed within 7 days of auction close. I am selling because I did the space to plow so it must go. Jeep will also need a starter at some point. Current starter works but doesn't engage every time.
