Car is sold as is with no warranty. 1995 Buick Riviera Code 1 L67 3.8L Supercharged engine, auto-transmission,leather interior load upscale. Engine runs great. Has 179,591 miles. Good tires. New battery couple years ago. Starts and sounds great. Does not burn oil. AC and all major controls work. Remote CD player does not. Radio seems to have a few buttons that do not work but plays fine..probably why CD does not work. I just may not know how to set them or select CD. Cassette works fine. Developed an oil leak up around oil filter or timing chain cover a few months ago and we parked it. Only known other problems before oil leak is there is a slight shudder in overdrive on the interstate. Selecting Drive and it runs fine. Really does not need overdrive for an around town car. Gets good gas mileage as long as you stay out of supercharge. However, it is a large heavy luxury car that can consume some fuel if you are heavy footed. This supercharger motor would be a rocket in a smaller GM car. No rust or body damage. Body has a few paint smudges on the rear down low on the plastic bumper that probably would clean up with a waxing. Other then that, the paint shines like a garage kept car that this car has been, Car is being sold. A good backyard garage mechanic can put it back in excellent running condition in a few days. Getting to the oil leak may require pulling radiator, belts and such since it's buried way under there or as simple as replacing the o-ring seal on the oil filter extension. Will run fine but oil leak would require checking oil ever 200 -300 miles or more would need about 3/4 qt. Ask questions before you bid. Come and inspect before you bid if possible. Cash on pickup. Title is free and clear in hand. This has been a garage kept, dealer maintained car owned by senior citizen. Transferred to a son for a grandchild 11/15/11 for school use for the last 6,273 miles. Have owners manual. The following was meant to be a video so you could actually hear the motor running but I believe I had my big thumb over the mike of the camera. I was actually describing how quite the engine was in there but that is where it sounds garbled. Car has been under trees and gotten a little dirty since cleaning it up two weeks ago. As you can see, it's quite dry underneath but there is a leak, I think at the extension of the oil filter mount where it bolts to engine. Probably an o-ring has gotten hard. It was quite cool and car has not been started for a week. That was condensation in exhaust which will be gone as soon as the engine warms up. It burns no oil and has no radiator leaks. Next time I show it, I will do another video. Also, sometimes the video appears to make the engine appear stopped and moving. That is simpley the camera speed and the engine was idling smooth and even..just a tick high since it was warming up. I ran the battery out of my camera and the flashlight I brought to show better underside need batteries.
