Vehicle Detail
I have a 2001 330xi for sale with ~ 201700 miles. I bought the car in 2011 with 145k miles on it. It has all wheel drive which is good in the snow. I had a pre-purchase inspection done at the BMW dealership in Sterling, VA including a compression test. It read 160 across all 6 cylinders. I have take care of preventative maintenance as well as issues as they came up. I think I am the 3rd owner of the car. I have the history of the car somewhere from the previous owners as well (have to find the papers). I still drive the car to work which is 140 miles round trip without issues. It has heated leather seats which is great in the winter. Since I've bought the car here is what has been done:2011:- replaced control arms and inner ball joints- replaced electric cooling fan- replaced driver side rear window regulator- replaced cam shaft position sensor- replaced volt regulator on alternator- replaced drive belt and A/C belt- replaced idler pulley- replaced front passenger side axle- replaced clutch line with UUC SS clutch line with CDV removed 2012:- replaced control arm bushing with powerflex bushings up front (not sure if 2012 or 2013)- replaced replaced oil filter housing gasket (2012 or 2013)- replaced rear diff bushing with AKG diff bushing (2012)- replaced passenger side front window regulator (2012 or 2013) 2013:- replaced water pump with upgraded Stewart racing waterpump- replaced belts- replaced flywheel with UUC lightweight flywheel and e34 m5 clutch (standard UUC setup)- replaced rear main seal- replaced pilot bearing- replaced throwout bearing- installed UUC adjustable shortshifter 2014:- replaced clutch fork- replaced clutch pivot pin with upgraded metal replacement instead of plastic- replaced slave cylinder- replaced fuel filter and part of the fuel line and vacuum line- replaced spark plugs- cooling system overhaul with new radiator, expansion tank, hoses and o-rings (car didn't over heat, but radiator had pin hole leak so figured it was time before things got bad)- replaced driver side engine mount- replaced suspension with koni adjustables front and rear and eibach springs and new top mount hats front and rear (heavy duty in the rear) with UUC rear shock tower reinforcement plates and new spring pads up front and new bumpstops (this whole setup makes the car handle better without being too harsh/agressive for daily driving). The only things the car needs now is valve cover gasket (started leaking after replacing spark plugs) and front rotors and pads and CD changer doesn't read discs but haven't dug into deeper yet. I'm looking to sell the car to pick up a WRX wagon similar to one I used to have and this car is in good shape inside and out.
