VERY RARE AND IN GREAT CONDITION!TV SHOW STAR CAR!JOIN THE MICRO CAR CRAZE! Awesome, entry level car for the Micro Car lover. Why pay over $50,000 for an Isetta or $100,000 for a Jolly? Overview:The original FIAT 600D Multipla was based on the famous Fiat 600's drive train, model 1100 coil and wishbone independent front suspension, and unbelievably sat six people in a footprint just 50 centimetres (19.7 in) longer than the original Mini Cooper! It is rear engined with the driver's compartment moved forward over the front axle, effectively eliminating the trunk but giving the body a very Minivan-like "one-box" look. Behind the front seat the vehicle could be arranged with a flat floor area or a choice of one or two bench seats.Until the 1970s, Multipla's were widely used as taxis in many parts of Italy. Specs: per WikipediaWheelbase2,000 mm (78.7 in)Length3,531 mm (139.0 in)Width1,448 mm (57.0 in)Height1,581 mm (62.2 in)Curb weight700 kg (1,543 lb) History: This is a Euro Spec car originally registered in Catania, Italy, so it has smaller, cleaner headlight mounts and bumpers. The car was purchased by an American Naval serviceman who was based in Italy in Jan of 2006 and was imported to California where it was maintained in top condition and shown at local events. The car is a TV star! In 2009 the car was sold to a Florida based dealer who in turn sold it to "Chasing Classic Cars" host Wayne Carini. On 12/30/2009, this car was featured on an episode of "Chasing Classic Cars" where Wayne ultimately sold the car to its current owner. The car has: The larger, numbers matching and perfect running 767cc engine Scratch free, dent free exterior Beautiful interior Fresh tune Fresh brakes Newly powder coated wheels Freshly chromed bumpers All original glass Full spare tire and jack Owners manual Fully working electrical including - side marker turn signal lights No rust! This car is virtually identical to mine with a few minor exceptions like interior color etc. It is a 1963 where mine is a 1966. However the configuration is almost exactly the same.
