Vehicle Detail
I purchased this Audi allroad this past summer from a very loving Audi enthusiast family. This car has been my daily driver since June and is always a joy to drive. Rest assured as this particular car is the 6th Audi in my ongoing Audi fleet over the past 15 years. I take great pride in the cars I own and am looking for somebody to continue the pleasant ownership that this car has provided for me. The only reason I am selling is to make room for another Audi. I have a stack of receipts that go along with the car too. A spec sheet from when the car was new until it was sold, presumably when it was traded in. I have all normal service records from the previous owner and myself. Please note that this is my daily driver and the mileage will increase a bit until the car is sold. Factory options: Automatic transmission Twin spoke wheels Premium Package Cold Weather Package Infotainment Package Parktronic Homelink Sun shades for rear passengers and hatch Sunroof Additions: Stg1 ECU tune (+60hp, +80tq) Factory Symphony II head unit with XM capability (subscription good til end of December) Service items to take note of: 56,000 miles - Torque converter replaced 70,200 miles - Brake light switch replaced 79,563 miles - All ignition coils replaced 92,570 miles - Temp sensor replacement, passenger front suspension airbag replaced, hvac blower assembly, instrument cluster replaced due to missing pixels 98,739 miles - Viscous fan clutch replaced, new oil fill cap, drivers side suspension airbag replaced 105,073 - All ignition coils replaced 128,967 miles - 4 new tires (P225/55R/17) 130,000 miles - Stg1 tune, valve cover gaskets, cam adjuster gaskets 132,000 miles - New drivers front axle (Raxles) 133,885 miles - New pollen filter, balance and rotate tires, transmission prop shaft seal replaced, new exhaust clamps up front, new battery 134,650 miles - New engine air filter, rear windshield wiper blade **Car has also had a complete timing belt service done within the past 20k miles. I have the documentation for this, but not the exact mileage. Same goes for a passenger front outer CV boot. Exterior - Rare color, very hard to find in good shape! Very good condition with no dents, dings, etc. Paint received a full detail by me in July which removed some swirls that had accumulated over the years. The front of the car shows normal wear with some flecks of paint being removed from highway/winter use. Doors are in good shape as are the lower door blades (came out very nice after a polish). Rear hatch has some scratches which are pictured and the top portion of the hatch has an imprint that resembles where somebody may have used tape against the paint. Its not too noticeable after some compounding and polish, but its worth mentioning. The roof rails were not compounded/polished so they are a bit cloudy (see photos). There is a small nick in the roof as it meets the windshield and where the drivers rear tail light meets the hatch (see photos). Headlights and tail lights are in good shape. The headlight lenses could use another round of sanding/polishing. All glass is in great shape. One small nick in the windshield on the passenger side. Overall the body is in really good shape for being 10yrs old. Interior - Black/Grey heated seats front and rear with power drivers seat. Extremely comfortable on trips and around town. Seats show normal wear for a 10yr old car and have regularly (monthly) received leather treatment by me. Carpet is in good shape front and rear aside from a few spots where there was a spill in which the carpet appears to have been scrubbed away (see photos). All weather floor mats take care of the impending snow/slush! Cargo carpet is in great shape and the car retains the factory storage shade/partition. ALL instrumentation lighting works, which is very rare in itself. Instrument cluster, radio, and climate control have NO pixels missing. Everything works as it should and is a joy at night. All interior lights work save for the rear cargo light. Glovebox has a small crack in the plastic on the far right side. AC/heat work perfectly, as they should. The rear folding seats make hauling larger items a breeze as well. Engine/Transmission - The 2.7t in this car is an absolute joy in the city and on road trips. Very powerful, smooth, and with all scheduled maintenance up to date there is nothing to worry about. No leaks from the engine or transmission. The transmission recently had its front prop shaft seal replaced by the local Audi dealership. Car pulls nice, shifts as it should, and does so with ease! The Stg1 ECU tune provides more power but also better fuel mileage when you aren't having too much fun. I have routinely gotten 20mpg with mixed city/highway driving. Wheels/Suspension/Brakes - Factory twin spoke wheels wrapped in freshly balanced and rotated all season tires provide a smooth ride. The wheels themselves are in ok shape, but the perfectionist may want them refinished. When you add in the fully functioning allroad selectable air suspension and quattro all wheel drive you will have a vehicle that is very difficult to beat in terms of versatility, especially in the winter months. The front suspension airbags have been replaced by the Audi dealership within the past 40k miles, so no worries there. No issues with the air suspension, which again is a rarity! Car rides smooth on all levels and behaves as it did when it left the factory. I do not have record of other front suspension components being replaced. There is a slight "knock" coming from the front as you come to a stop, which may be one of the lower control arms. This is a recent development that is to be disclosed. The brakes work perfectly but do squeal a bit during turns. The backs of the pads may just need some anti squeal paste as the car stops very nicely, and straight. The only trouble code the car produced when I picked it up back in June was a brake booster pressure sensor. This causes the ABS/raise lower/stability dash lights to illuminate. This has no effect on normal driving, but is to be disclosed. I found this only happened after shutting the car off after a drive then restarting 10 minutes later. This has not happened since its gotten colder here, so its obviously temperature dependent. Items that could be addressed - - Rear wiper washer does not work properly. There seems to be a leak somewhere in the hatch area. I have not looked into this yet. - Headlight lenses are a bit cloudy. I sanded/wet sanded them but should have used one of the kits available. They are however much better than they were when I picked the car up. - The car has one code, a brake booster pressure sensor code, which pops up sometimes after the car is driven, shut off, then turned on again. It causes the abs, stability, and raise/lower lights to come on. I have not looked into this further, but it does not affect my day to day commute. - Cargo light is a bit finicky. Comes on when it wants to if the hatch is open. - Interior trim around the hatch is cracked. - Slight knock as mentioned above which is believed to be a lower control arm - The car has 2 keys but one will need replaced. The switchblade does not spring back and the casing is in need of replacement. I have no need for 2 keys, but I did purchase a few set of generic allroad key fobs and batteries. They will go with the car but need programmed and cut in order to work. - The front under body trays are currently off of the car. I took them off after the last oil change but found new hardware was needed to reinstall. ***If for some reason the photos below do not load please feel free to email me.
