FEEL FREE TO CALL OR TEXT ME AT 717-435-2449 This Cutlass was originally from Florida, rust free its entire life. Not like a northern car that's restoration would have required extensive body repair. It still retains almost all of the factory paint on the frame and floor boards. The car is free of any rust period. The restoration was a full frame off rotisserie including new paint, top, interior and a rebuild of the factory olds motor to keep the car matching numbers. No alterations to the motor during rebuild like most people do. Under the hood it still retains the factory 2bbl carburetor. Car was ordered with the highly sought after bucket seats and console shift not the common bench/column shift. Also ordered with a/c and rally wheels. You will be hard pressed to find an example like this anywhere in the USA and will make any collector proud to add to their showcase. The Icing on the cake is inside the owners manual where you will find the Protecto-Plate card that was in her glove box the day she left the factory. The car starts and runs amazing and is a joy to drive. Would be a perfect car to easily win a trophy with, at any car show or turn heads anywhere you go. Please be aware that the car is an antique and even with restorations and kid gloves nothing is perfect and like anything else 40+ years young has its flaws. Odometer reads 79,000 and still functions as it should but due to what I guess must be a clerical error the title reads around 100,000. I suppose neither is all that accurate with the motor being rebuilt recently. This car has a book value encroaching the $30,000 mark and has rapidly been increasing in value due to the supply of these cars diminishing daily. Would make a wise investment for anyone looking to put their money into an option that will make you smile every time you pass by it. Neat piece of the cars history. It was just used in multiple driving scenes in the upcoming Whitey Bulger film Black Mass staring Johnny Depp.On Nov-24-14 at 11:41:28 PST, seller added the following information: Final photo is a car currently for sale that is almost a twin to mine minus the interior color and that the owner has removed the original transmission to install an aftermarket unit. I personally feel than change takes away from the cars uniqueness of being an all stock antique but everyone has their own preference. This example however should give you an idea as to what the market value on these cars currently is.
