Now that I have gotten it out of my system its up for sale so I can start the next project. A little back ground on me is I used to own the largest custom car shop in the Midwest. I retired a few years ago and now I just play with my own toys. I purchased this one already started as a project from another builder/collector. He had started it, I inspected all of his work and he did a very good job of getting the project started so I finished it up after getting it from him instead of starting from complete scratch. This is a rat rod so don't expect luxury here Dirty Frank here isn't about being pretty or comfortable hes about ruggedness and raw power. The air ride does make the ride comfortable but she is bare inside no AC no heat no cruise control ect. KISS philosophy Keep It Simple S**** just what you need to get from point A to point B and have blast doing it. Hit this gas and your going to shoot out black smoke on both sides. Check out the videos below to see it in action. She will burn out and melt those tires off if you wanted to, so you leave a trail of rubber, black and white smoke. The best part is while your having all that fun its getting about 35 miles per gallon of diesel. I know its a ford body but it had to be a Cummins Diesel engine, once built up you get more power out of them, rock solid reliability. Out of Ford Powerstroke and Chevys Duramax my opinion the Dodge Cummins engine wins hands down every time. They are just beasts of motors. Its tuned up with 2 turbos too. You wont believe the power of this thing till you get behind the wheel. Mechanically she is ready to ride start it up and go. I had thought about putting a bed on it. I even bought and old dodge bed and had sealed the entire frame and installed the air valves. Its ready to be used but the more time I spent with frank the more I decided against it the look without it grew on me. Using the frame as an air tank saves a lot of space so you have room to use the bed instead of having the 10 gallon tank back there. If you decided to do that the works already done for you. I know its a custom build and there will be many buyers who cant come out and look at it before purchasing. I want you to know exactly what your buying so I have included 3 videos and over 120 pictures of this of every angel I could think of. I think i must have been thinking of the bed i had purchased for it when listing it, the earyl 30s style is a lot more boxy, the nice rounded look like this one has is 40s style My apologies for any confusion this has caused.
