Please read entire listing before bidding on this car. You are bidding on a nice gently used 1998 Model CE Toyota Corolla located just outside Boston in Melrose Mass. This is my mom’s car. She bought it new in 1998. She has not driven it much. It only has 24,281 miles on it. They are all original. She is 84 years old, hence the lack of driving. She has taken very good care of it over the years. It has almost always been factory serviced. I have some of the service reports/receipts showing the history. The car has the following features: The car has always been garaged It was rarely driven in rain or snow. It only has twenty four thousand (24) little old lady miles on it There are a total of four keys and the factory key code fob showing the number used to cut new keys The car was just cleaned, washed and waxed. It looks great. The guys at the Allston car wash were all salivating over the car. I had two guys make me an offer as I picked up the car. Automatic transmission powered by a 4 cylinder 1.8L engine. Power windows and power steering with a tilt wheel Air Conditioning Power locks Cruise control The car is fast and peppy. It handles very well. I have driven it for the past week and it is joy to drive compared to my truck. It has nice get up and go speed from a stop and it handles well on the highway with no shimmy or vibrations. It is a smoke free car The original factory user manuals are included. Everything on the car works as far as I can tell. The car is currently registered and has current inspections sticker All the lights work There is zero rust showing. Not even a spec. I did not climb underneath the car but there should not be any rust, it was always garaged and rarely driven in rain or snow. The windows are VIN etched There is no wear on the interior. The floor mats look like they are brand new. The car has had the following work or parts replaced: Front brake pads in 2002 Front brake pads and rotors in 2007 Drive belt in 2008 A tail light was replaced in 2009 and a couple of scratches on the rear bumper were buffed out Battery replaced in Dec 2007, Apr 2010, Jan 2012, I don’t believe she was running it enough to keep the battery fully charged. In her later years, she was only driving it a couple of miles at a time. She stopped driving it in May 2013. Starter replaced in Jun 2010 Thorough inside and outside cleaning of the car in Nov 2014. The car has the following imperfections: The car has not been driven on a regular basis in the past two and a half years. I have driven it occasionally just to make sure it runs etc. My running of the car has occurred every 4 to 6 months. I have run it for the past week or so, going to work etc. and it has run very very well. The hub caps have a few nicks and dings on them. Especially the front right, see picture. Parking was not a strong suit for my mom. Replace the front right hubcap and you will have a beautiful car. There are the usual nicks and dings on the body for a car that is 16 years old. Overall, there are very few nicks and dings. She really did not drive it much. All the service reports are included This is a great little car. It has been well maintained.
