Vehicle Detail
Listed for auction is a 1989 Blue Honda Civic. The body style is named a Wagovan or Shuttle, the motor is it's original 1.5 four cylinder, With lots of miles Approximate 300.000. The transmission is a manual 5 speed. and is a factory front wheel drive model: NOT ALL WHEEL DRIVE. This Honda spent 3/4 of it's life in the state NC, which accounts for the minimal rust. The under carriage is in real decent condition. as I tried to photo. I have installed many new parts, as I will mention. New Battery, Valve cover gasket, Front Bushings, Rear Bushings, Ball Joints ,Tie Rod, Brakes and Rotors. Front end Alinement. Plugs, Wires, Recent Oil Change. Have new shoes for back brakes, Need to be installed. Four New tires. Transmission shifts smooth, car travels down road great. The issues are: Just recently , Clutch system needs repair. Transmission will not engage in gear? Motor runs on all four cylinders when cold, as engine warms one cylinder will cut in and out? Windshield has crack full length. Drivers side front panel creased. minor rust drivers side rear wheel well. and passenger rear. I'm loosing my shop storage building. That I rented as it is being sold. So the extra projects have to move on. PLEASE NOTE: BUYER MUST ARRANGE AND PROVIDE PICK-UP TRANSPORTATION. It will easily roll on a small trailer. BUT is not drivable with the clutch issue. I'm very flexible on a pick-up date, and will hold the car up to 45 days so as details can be worked out. There is a very modest reserve set as we are motivated to move the car. Please ask any questions, I will be happy to answer them. Thanks.
