1948 FORD F-100 Classic Streetrod Build This is it!!!! Up for auction is this 1948 Ford F-100!!!!! That's right it's what I call a "Classic Streetrod Build". 1948 Ford F-100 this truck has been modified with a 327 chevrolet engine and a 350 turbomatic transmission! It has it's original frame under it with the drop axle and original rearend with leaf springs. This truck is a good driver quality build that runs and drives great! It still has the 1948 Ford feel and obtains original door handles, window cranks, seat and gauges! It has had power juice brakes added and power steering! The truck glides down the road well and shows it's original 48 stance well! It has had New tires, Wheels, seat covers, paint, gauges etc etc....They kept as much of the original 48 appearance as they could while still adding the everyday necessaties. Truck has had the original heater hooked up so it still works but has a block off valve to such it down for the warm climate. IT has also had a/c brackets added but not the actual a/c.
