Hello Al! Up for Auction is a 1970 C10 Pickup. I purchased from a family friend to use as a reliable, but good looking, short commute daily driver. I really enjoyed the fact i could drive it anywhere and not have to worry about it like it was immaculate, but it still turns heads. I am selling it now because I no longer use or need it. It is an older 10-12 year restoration. It has disc brakes, power windows, ice cold AC, and a decent stereo. Mechanical: The truck has a 20-30k mile, 350 with a 4 barrell carb with long tube headers and a Weind intake, electric fans and also a March pulleys serpentine system. The transmission is a 3 speed manual on the column and last week received a new clutch, fork, and throw out bearing. In addition to the radiator being rodded out and a new water pump, thermostat, and radiator cap installed with new seals on the top half of the motor, at the same time, totaling roughly $1500. The AC system was gone through last summer at a cost of $1100. Body: The body is pretty straight, with minimal rust (no cancer) there is a dent on the passanger bed side, in front of the rear wheel, you can see in the pictures. There is also knicks and scratches that are to be expected for a 10-12 year old paint job. There are a few spots where the paint is lifitng from the metal around the drip rail and you can see some small bubbles on the roof and underneath the vinyl bedcover, from trapping moisture. Other: All gauges and cancelling turn signals work as they should. The truck has lowering spindles from Early Classic Enterprises, here in Fresno and a Kenwood Deck with two 10 inch subs behind the rear seat.
