Incredible one owner truck that performs as good as it looks. Scarce as hen's teeth with the torque monster 496 cubic inch Chevy big block mated to the world class Allison Transmission along with four wheel drive. It has just been through the shop with extensive upgrades and has no deferred maintenance. So clean it must have had limited salt exposure over its lifetime. I bought it a few months ago from an estate owner in Vermont to maintain my rental properties. I saw his beautiful property and the shed where he keeps his equipment. Very picky person with immaculate stuff. Said he was the only one who drove it and was buying a new one which he likes to do every ten years or so. Has a 9' dump bed with 9' Fisher Minute Mount II V plow with rubber snow foil. It was so fine I couldn't resist buying it even though it is really much more than I need for my few properties. So I found a 4 door diesel pickup that suited me better so this one is up for your consideration at no reserve. In my opinion anything under $25,000 will be a great buy but here you get to set the price and it is being offered exclusively to the ebay community. Auto check report scored a top of the class "89" with no incidents to report and only one owner. Did I mention only 52,000 miles? After researching I discovered the 8.1L is no longer being produced. To get similar performance you have to go diesel. The largest GM engine for this type truck is the 6.0. Also, to get the Allison transmission you have to go diesel, it is not an option with a gas engine any longer. I also checked Craigs list nationwide and didn't find a single "4x4 dump 8.1L" offered. Interior is exceptionally nice. Seats are firm and supportive with no rips. Exterior is nice as well. You will be proud to show up at any job site in this one. Frame was fluid filmed each year by the original owner so it is in great shape. Some of the brake lines had been repaired so I had them all ripped out and replaced. Front tires are near new. Rears are studded and about 60 percent and all four match. The mechanics shop state inspected and just went through it front to back. Over $3,000 expended to make it 100% including new idler arms and bracket, pitman arm, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, ball joints, upper control arm assembly, exhaust manifold gaskets, wiper arms and assemblies, brake lines, engine oil and filter, tranny fluids and filters, bed blasted and painted. Power steering, power disc brakes, crank windows, manual locks, rubber floor, A/C, AM/FM, overdrive button, strobe lights package, hand held plow control. Dual gas tanks (plastic to last forever) provide long range. Glass looks new. Seats are firm and supportive. No rips, stains or smells. No dash cracks or anything else to detract from a like new appearance. Paint is deep and glossy. Obviously you can expect a few very minor nicks here and there. Truck was just detailed. No rust issues topside or undercarriage. Bottoms of doors and rockers are all solid. Truck goes down the road just like you would hope with no smoke, leaks, knocking, ticking, warning lights or bad habits. Silky smooth, right now power that makes using this a pleasure. Undoubtedly will move mountains of snow. Does not have a trailer brake control which is a plus because the truck does not look or feel like it has been worked. Posi rear end and 4:10 gears. The potent 8.1 litre big block Chevy engine and Allison Transmission make for a powerful combination of smooth torque for all your pushing, pulling and hauling needs. In fact this V8 produces more horsepower, torque and displacement than the rivals V10's. 2,000 rpm at 60 mph and happily goes much higher without drama. Fly in and drive home with the plow in the bed. NH issues temp tags if you need one. Title is clear, clean and in hand for an easy transaction.
