The Village of Woodridge, Illinios Public Works Department is selling a 2002 Ford F550 super duty rear wheel drive dump truck Triton 6.8L V10 engine. fully functional snow fighting equipment, This vehicle was purchased new and used by the Public Works Department for every day maintenance and front line snow plowing operations. Overall condition of truck rated as "fair " mileage 60,834. Vehicle maintenance serviced every 3,000 miles by Village mechanics. No known problems from a mechanical stand point, engine, transmission & air condition operates. The exterior body, cab and frame has multiple dings, dents, scratches and rust/rot as expected for it's age and type of use. The toolbox service body that is mounted between the cab & dump bed has major rust/rot, doors are welded/screwed closed as unit is not functional and in need of replacement - see photos. The cab interior is in good condition has vinyl seat, vinyl flooring, power windows & power locks. The hydraulic dump body is a 9 foot Henderson Mark-3 all stainless steel unit with folding/drop down side gates. The truck comes with salting system 8 foot Henderson tailgate spreader all stainless steel, rear spinner and dash mount salt controller which electronically controls salt output - made by Force America. The truck comes with a 9 foot Henderson heavy duty snow plow, with plow headlights. The truck comes with a Tomar emergency light bar with built in rear arrow board, unit is mounted to the cab roof. It is recommended you view and test drive truck before bidding. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Village of Woodridge Public Works Department 1 Plaza Drive Woodridge IL, 60517.
