Vehicle Detail

2012 restoration. Very nice restoration, fantastic chrome. incredible stainless. No pits, scratches, no dents, bright potmetal .Interior is done as close to original as possible, as pictures show. Trunk is rust free, insulated and carpeted, with matching spare. All glass is very nice no cracks or chips. Engine compartment is show finish, supurb paint, with lots of engine detail. This is an original TRI-STAR early production model, with all the correct Tri-Star emblems.Carpet is all seamed with excellent under padding. Brakes are all gone thru, from master cylinder to wheels. Tires have less than 500 miles on them. They are radials. Car runs and drives great. Over drive makes it a perfect highway car, capable of the 65 mph era .Dash chrome is very nice. Steering wheel is outstanding, with deluxe horn ring, and NOS Tri-Star plastic center horn button. Hub caps are NOS. Beauty rings are georgeous, high polished. Left front fender has a wave in it, You can see it from certain angles. However the car comes with a extra front fender that has been taken to the body shop and is ready for finish paint, it is currently in primer, and all dents and scratches removed. Car has the 6 volt heavy duty battery, and an up date of a new 6 volt alternator. Car would really look trick with the roof painted white or off white, I never got around to this, but car comes with the gold Studebaker side emblems for two tome paint job application. The underneath of this car is part of its outstanding feature, It is all painted to match the outside. Engine is quiet, and does not smoke, and has new exhaust system, re=built transmission. The overdrive shifts smoothly and quiet. The tru mileage of the car is un=nown, But at the time of restoration the speedometer was set to zero. Since restoration 2 years ago. car has been driven to shows and occasional sunday trips. under 1000 miles. Like all antiques, things can go wrong, and with that being said, this car is being sold as is and where is, with no warrantees implied. I will help in finding a transporter if needed, at buyers cost, Any questions call 805-889-5005This car probably has some of the finest chrome you will ever find on a 53. The grill is so outstanding you will think it is just made yesterday. The tail light bezels are perfect, as are the headlight bezels, Payment is Pay Pal $500.00 deposit. Balance cashers Check, or bank draft. Car will not move until money clears. On Nov-07-14 at 11:45:24 PST, seller added the following information: Additional information on the car. E bay only allowed me 24 pictures of the car. I would have liked to show more detail of the engine compartment, its very nice. Underneath of the car is very clean and rust free. The door thresholds are nos, really nice. All the inside and outside door handles and window cranks are superb. no scratches, dents or rust. The rear seat has the very rare Tri-Star ash tray. Glove compartment is very nice. All plastic lenses are nos. All gages work. including horn. New shocks and allignment
