We seized the opportunity to buy this car based on it's options and mileage. Upon sending it through the shop we were able to pinpoint all areas that needed to be addressed right away as well as in the future to ensure years of worry-free driving. Most of the common BMW part failures have been addressed and the car has been detailed to perfection. We sent the car through PA State Inspection and Emissions, replaced all the fluids including manual transmission, brake fluid, rear differential fluid and performed a synthetic oil change. Re REPLACED the power steering rack and pinion assembly because of a leak and in addition replaced the pressure and return hoses as well as flushed out the power steering fluid with synthetic BG fluid for insurance and maintenance. The engine air filter, belts, tensioners and pulleys have been replaced. The front and rear brakes and rotors have been replaced. The front lower control arm bushings have been replaced, the tires are at 80% and we just performed a computerized 4 wheel alignment. Spark plugs were done as part of the 90K maintenance schedule. NO STONE WAS LEFT UNTURNED. This car is ready to go across country. Prior to our service we noted that a new Vanos line, alternator and left and right front axles had just been replaced as well as a new thermostat assembly.
