1965 Mustang that has spent most of its life in California and was recently moved to Chicago in November of 2013. The car is a running daily driver with less than 70k original miles. You can choose to use this car as a daily driver or as a more than a solid base for a restoration. The metal has absolutely no rust which is what you expect from a car that has spent its life in the Midwest, California car. Although, the car was born red, I have recently repainted the car within the last 6 months to the color that you see now, which is a period color the car came in during 1965. The car is a complete numbers matching car. The car has drum brakes all around and does not have power steering. The tires have significant tred, American racing rims. Cosmetically the exterior is great and the interior has a few tears in the passenger and drivers side seat. I had a quote for approximately $500 - $700 to recover the seats. Outside of the seats I probably would not have done anything else to the car cosmetically. The previous owner also put an air suspension on the car. The car has a recent tune-up.
