This is the real deal. All original 1932 Henry Ford steel roadster body and chassis including original grille shell, grille, hood, firewall, steering column and wheel, floors, cowl vent, front fenders, running boards, frame horn covers, door and trunk handles and more. The engine is a 1949 flathead 8ba with Offenhauser heads and intake manifold with original Stromberg large logo 97 carbs. The exhaust system has Fenton headers with Smitty mufflers. The transmission is a T5, 5speed followed by a 9 inch rear with a buggy spring, ladder bars and tube shocks. front brakes are 40 Ford. The interior is Le Baron Bonney leather correct for 1932 roadster with an original accessory water heater. The instruments and panel are Stewart Warner. The wheels are powder coated 1935 Ford widened inside the rear by Stockton Wheel and the tires are new Firestone pie crust bias ply. This car is from Los Angeles and was presumed to have raced on the dry lakes in the early 50s. It was driven for some time as a highboy and recently added the original fenders and running boards to make it a full fendered roadster with a Sid Chavers bop top that can be taken apart and stored in the trunk. The title is clear. The body work is flawless with beautiful new PPG black paint.
