1962 International Harvester Metro A120 van. It's equipped with a six cylinder and a three speed manual trans. The engine runs very well and does not smoke. There is a tag on engine block that states that it is a replacement engine dated 1971. The mileage is unknown. It has pertonics electronic ignition installed and a new starter. It's a little hard to start when cold but usually starts right up after several pumps of the gas pedal first. The three speed trans shifts as it should and the clutch is smooth. The brakes work fine and is equipped with a power brake booster underneath. Turn signal and brake lights work other than needing a bulb on front left turn signal. Headlights work but right side is blown. This van drives very smooth, the steering is very easy. It was driven from Ca. to east coast in 2011 and has been sitting pretty much since. It is routinely started. The body is very solid other than the bottom of the drivers door and bottoms of rear cargo doors as seen in pics. Also someone install a crank out type window on left rear cargo door and butchered the window opening so that will require some work to repair. The body has many dings and dents and is in primer to protect it. The tires are in great condition, the fronts are fairly new. Have all glass that was removed but most needs to be replaced due to cracks. The gauge cluster is in poor condition but have a few replacements with on perfect glass. Also included are four NOS marker lights. Mechanically this van is in good condition. Needs mainly cosmetic restoration.
