I have had a lot of interest in the car locally as well and have forwarded all interested parties to this auction. I however do reserve the right to end the auction early and sell privately as long as no bids have been placed. What can I say. The picture's speak for themselves! This is by far one of the cleanest examples of a CLS you will find on the market. I Have owned many exotic cars and searched this particular one out to replace a Porsche I owned at the time due to a new addition to our family requiring a car seat. I have owned and been a member of the Porsche Club of America for the last 20 years, Now that my son is in a booster seat I am going back into another 911. That is the only reason this car is going up for sale. I found the CLS In New York after looking at at least 20 -30 of them from Boston to Maine and as far south as Pennsylvania. The gentleman told me the cars history. He had leased the car and after the lease had ended he had grown fond of the car and purchased it outright (3 owners on carfax 1. leasing company 2. him when he bought it and 3. me. technically It is actually a 2 owner car not 3 as reported). I asked him about the two incidents on vehicle report. one he said was a bicyclist that bumped into the side of the car doing no damage but was reported to the police as the bicyclist tried to use it as a ploy to get insurance money. the second was a bumper tap during stop and go NY city traffic that caused no damage to either vehicle. I had the car inspected prior to purchase to verify this as the guy seemed honest enough and his nose didn't grow but I wanted to put my mind at ease. Out of all of the CLS's this was the Only one I found that Literally felt, looked and drove new, Had been adult owned and stored in a climate controlled garage. It was an executives car and just as I used it spent its life on the highway between the office and suburbs. The car is 100% stock with the exception of the Rohana 20" wheel package that I had put on last year for just under $5000. The car is dent ,ding and paintwork free. everything works as it should. The interior is clean and smoke free, seats and carpets are free of tears and failing seams. You will be hard pressed to find a better example at any price or mileage and the only one I've seen in this color combination. Do not let the mileage on this or any other CLS defer you from owning one. I would recommend one of these cars to anyone in the market and if my need arose again I would buy another without hesitation. The motors run into the 300,000 range and drop in replacements can be located with under 40,000 miles for less than $1500.00 due to their lack of demand. in other words they just don't seem to fail so the replacements have little to no value. I have trusted the car to take my Wife and infant on two trips to Florida and Pennsylvania half a dozen times and wouldn't think twice to do it again. its an absolute pleasure to drive and feels, looks and turns heads the way you would expect a car with a sticker price approaching the $100,000.00 mark to do. only item not on carfax for some reason is a wheel and tire I ran through insurance last thanksgiving day due to a pothole. There was no damage aside from my patience and the car was driven away after the spare tire was put on.. Feel free to contact me with any questions 717-435-2449.
