Vehicle Detail
Wow. They don't make them like this anymore. Built Ford tough and ready to take on your biggest jobs. This is a low mileage, stout and loaded up F350 V10 4x4 that won't break the bank. Normally I pass on a truck of this vintage but after using it I am impressed. It performs as good as it looks. It has been through the shop with extensive upgrades and has no deferred maintenance. I found it on a private estate in Maine where it was used by the homeowner for the past 6 years for plowing the driveway and making dump runs. So clean it must have had limited salt exposure over its lifetime. I bought it last Spring to maintain my rental properties. It came with a wimpy homeowner plow on it. I upgraded to a nicely reskinned and refurbished 9' Fisher plow but then found a 4 door diesel that suited me better so this one is up for your consideration at no reserve. On a dealer's lot you would expect this to be offered at $12,500 but you get to set the price and it is being offered exclusively here to the ebay community. Auto check report scored a top of the class "80" with no incidents to report. Did I mention only 100,000 miles? Interior is exceptionally nice. Seats are firm and supportive with no rips. Exterior is nice as well. You will be proud to show up at any job site or pulling your boat to a cabin by the lake in this one. No evidence of rust repair. There were stone chips at bottom of doors so that was addressed with flat matte black bed liner spray that extends above the wheel wells for a subtle broad shoulder look. The bed rails had gotten soft so I had the bed removed, flipped over and 2"x3" metal stock welded into place. Frame was blasted and painted. All brake lines were replaced. Tires are recent and all match. Lock out hubs are upgraded and turn freely. The mechanics shop state inspected and went through it front to back. After over $4,000 in new shocks, brakes and lines, parking brakes, spark plugs, any coils needed, exhaust manifold gaskets, steering stabilizer, fluids and filters, u joints, side steps, rear bumper, wiper blades, A/C condenser she is now ready for another decade or two and lots of miles. I was planning on keeping this for my personal use so I probably went overboard. All power options except cruise control work as they should including windows and locks, A/C, AM/FM/CD/TAPE, mirrors, remote lock opener, overdrive button. Mirrors telescope and fold in. Glass is nice with no cracks but some very light scratches on windshield and drivers window. Bed has a plastic liner. Sliding rear window with lock. Seats are firm and supportive and driver has lumbar control. No rips, stains or smells. Wheels are alloys that had slight pitting. So I had them ground smooth and coated with plasti dip to complete the industrial look. Paint is deep and glossy. I took a picture of the hood wet so you could see the water standing nicely. Then when dried with light scratches showing. Truck was just detailed. There are numerous light scratches as you would expect. Most have been touched up and don't detract from the overall appearance. Truck probably looks better in pictures than it is. If you want to take it to the next level it would be an easy repaint. No rust issues topside or undercarriage. Bottoms of doors and tailgate are all solid. Truck goes down the road just like you would hope with no vibrations, smoke, leaks, knocking, ticking, warning lights or bad habits. Does not have a trailer brake control which is a plus because the truck does not look or feel like it has been worked. No bed mounted hitch ever. Posi rear end and 4:10 gears combined with the potent V10 make for a powerful combination of smooth torque for all your pushing, pulling and hauling needs. Fly in and drive home with the plow in the bed. NH issues temp tags if you need one. Title is clear, clean and in hand for an easy transaction. Since this is a true no reserve auction please refrain from bidding if you have less than a 5 positive feedback rating. And remember, no deal is final till you see the truck in NH and love it. Otherwise you get a full refund with no hard feelings so you can look for something you like better. Happy bidding.
