DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1979 AMC  Pacer. Pacer's are becoming more and more difficult to find.  While this one if far from perfect it is a decent example of a  cult classic. this can be a good start for a restoration or  easily made in to a daily/weekend driver. The paint is decent but not great  and on the body there are some dings, dents and a few rust  concerns. There are a few spots that need some attention rust  wise please see the pictures. The interior is good not great.  The seats are sun faded but not horribly worn down. The engine does smoke a bit and  there is an oil leak that appears to be from the pan gasket but  I can't tell for sure. It drives good we drove it over 50 miles  back from where we bought it including on the freeway. It would  need tires soon before I would drive it any long distances.
