I have this 1965 Chrysler Newport for sale. It's a four door hardtop no post car. Original 383 motor and 2 barrel carburetor, 270 hp. It's a good running project car sold as is. Runs and drives great, power steering and power brakes work great. Shifts nicely and has plenty of power on the highway, cruises at 80mph and had it up to 90mph no problem. Would go faster but I was happy with that. You could drive it home any distance. The right exhaust needs a gasket where it dumps to the rear, it was just a few dollars for the gasket. Leaks enough to make it sound like a hotrod but not loud. The front and rear end bumpers and chrome look great no rust or dents on the bumpers. There is a lot of rust on the rear quarter panels. The frame and underneath are solid. The interior is in pretty good shape original door panels are intact. Needs restored. Has good carpet and floors are solid. The bench seats are pretty worn out but still solid and comfortable to sit in. All the doors open and shut nicely and lock. The back windows are tough rolling up and down, the front windows roll up and down nicely. All the glass is perfect on this car. The black vinyl top is in good shape, a few small bad spots but looks great. All the lights and turn signals work great, even the chrome covered indicator turn signal lights on the hood both work. The dash lights work and both inside rear lights work when you open the doors, the trunk light also works. Windshield wipers work great. The original steering wheel is intact and the horn works nice and loud. The trunk is solid with a small hole on the right side, comes with a roll of new black carpet. All the tires are good. New pioneer cd player and rear speakers. It's a nice 10 foot or 20 footer, solid but needs what rust it has fixed to paint.
