Vehicle Detail
1933 Buick Series 50, rumble seat, 3window coupe with dual sidemounts. Original metal artillery wheels, factory tire covers, with factory rear view mirrors. Original fender lights, horns, etc. Original luggage rack and trunk: including original luggage. Interior near perfect. Car has 34,478 original miles. Original Rumble Seat including original step plates from factory with original leather upholstery in good condition. Originally black, the car is in second paint (also black). I believe the car to be rust free. Recent valve job. Starts easily, very quiet, shifts well. Original 3speed. Front end seems solid and tight. Drives like a good Buick should. Missing escutcheon plates on one door. I am third owner of this car and I've never seen a better original than this one. All bright work and trim, including grill are near perfect. Rear window shade is in nice condition and works perfectly. Running boards could use new rubber at some point. Car has been stored in heated, dry, private museum for the past 35 years. Car is sold "as is" FOB, Olympia, WA Terms are cash or certified check. Car can be moved when check has cleared. Current owner can assist and advise buyer in locating shipper if needed. Short term heated storage available. Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time. due to the fact that as of Oct 20th the car will be for sale locally. If you have any questions feel free to call me 360 754-4676 PDT Sully On Oct-21-14 at 12:04:06 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve has price was met Oct.20th. The car will be sold. I want to be a little more descriptive about the car, things that do not really show up in the pictures. As mentioned, the car is in second paint, which was done before my time. There is some chipping of the paint below the rear window. As to the interior of the car: the hood liner is tan. The upholstery on the seats and door panels is grey(and not tan as I indicated previously) and appears to have been redone a long time ago. There is an old water stain on the left side by the rear window. There may have been a small leak in the original roof insert which may or may not still exist, the car has never been in the rain as long as I have known it (20 plus years) and I have not taken it out in the rain.
