Vehicle Detail
Up for auction, my 1966 Ford Ranchero. I drive this truck all over, to the parts store, to the hardware store, to cruise nights (always a hit), and cruising the beach and boardwalks. The truck has an older candy apple red paint job (but still looks great) with plenty of metallic flake, gets lot of looks, honks, and thumbs up as I drive around. Drives great, steering is a little loose but runs, brakes, and drives great otherwise. Truck is from CA and rust free!!! And you just don't see ANY of these trucks around. The truck has a 1974 Ford 302 (probably out of a Ford Maverick) and a '74 Ford C4 transmission. The motor has a performance intake, headers, Holley carb, and upgraded, performance distributor and coil. The transmission has a shift kit and 1,800 rpm stall speed converter and B&M shifter. The truck has an aluminum radiator and never runs above 180 degrees. The interior is black and in great shape. It has the original radio in the dash (not sure if it is functional) and a modern stereo in the glove box hooked to a sub-woofer and new speakers. Horn and fuel guage not working. There are Sunpro gauges for water temp, oil pressure, and amp added to the dash. The truck has 15" wheels all around with P205/60R15 up front and P225/60R15 on the rear. The tires are in pretty good shape. Bumper chrome is great, bed and window molding chrome is in great shape. I have extra/spare parts to go with the truck. I have a brand new, wood Shelby style steering wheel with horn and installation kit (see pic), just haven't installed it yet. Includes brand new AutoMeter tach (see pic) Have new weatherstrip for driver's door and window regulator rebuild kit (driver's window works but is tough to roll up). Have replacement blinker switch (blinkers work but left blinker needs to be turned off manually). Many other extra/spare parts. There is a paint crack on the hood (check the pics) and a few imperfections, the hood is starting to fade. For a '66 the truck is in great shape but it is a used vehicle. I encourage you to come check it out in person before bidding. Sold as is with no warranty. I have truck listed locally so reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
