Vehicle Detail

VERY RARE 1973 Cj5 Military Jeep Never registered. Still has the original Government Title 15,995 Miles. In 1973 this Jeep was ordered by the U.S. Government for use at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. In 1975 the Government donated it to the Boy’s Club of South Carolina. The Boy’s Club used it for parades, displays and special events. In 2010 the Boy’s Club raffled the jeep off. It was won by my friend Andrew. He then just stored the Jeep in his garage. He decided it’s time to sell the jeep so he had it reconditioned. He did a complete new paint job, tune up, new brakes, new gas tank (because it was stored for so long) and a few other items. The Jeep ruins like a fine sewing machine. The only issues I found is the gauges, gas and temperature are inop. and the parking brake needs a new cable because it’s frozen. This Cj is very rare. You would look long and hard to find one with under 16,000 miles. You would look long and hard to find a 1973 Military Cj. You would probably look forever to find a Cj like this that is Military. This Jeep still has the original Government Title showing it as a gift to the Boy’s Club of South Carolina. When Andrew won the Jeep, he took it to his friends Automotive dealership to have him register the vehicle. After he found out that he would have to surrender the original Government Title, he chose not to register the Jeep. (Having an original Government Title makes this a very collectable vehicle.) Andrew went to the South Carolina Dept. of motor vehicles and was told there would be no issues having the vehicle registered and titled. Andrew said he would assist if need be. But having this Jeep with the original Government Title is what makes it so rare. I am also told that some States will issue a special vehicle permit without having to turn in the original Title. The Jeep was shipped here to me in Southern California because I had something Andrew wanted. Because the market is very good for these on the West Coast I have him what he wanted and he gave me the Jeep I have seen some reconditioned Military Jeeps sell for $25,000 and even $30,000. I think this Jeep is more rare than any of them. This is a NO RESERVE auction and the high bid wins. HOWEVER, I would sell the Jeep now for $15,995 ( same as the miles ) or a reasonable offer before the last 24 hours of the auction. I would also consider a partial trade. Car, truck, Motorcycle. (But nothing that floats, fly’s or has a built-in potty) The Jeep is located in Walnut, California. (L.A. County) and is available for inspection or test drive any time. Question, Call Stuart 909 239-6199 On Oct-11-14 at 13:31:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Notice, eBay's policy prohibits any offer to "TRADE" so the second to last paragraph "I would consider a partial trade" AND in the heading of the listing saying "trade" is no longer and option and I withdraw yhe possibility..
