Please do not bid if you do not plan to pay and complete the auction, please don't waste your time or mine.*** For Sale is this 1998 Isuzu Amigo that has some good things going for it, but is being sold AS-IS and DOES NEED WORK - I bought this a few months ago and it runs pretty well, but I can't fix the issues with it at the moment, so I need to sell it. Below, I will describe it as best I can, but I am not a mechanic so can only go by what I see and what I've been told. Please read carefully and ask any questions before bidding. About the Amigo: 3.2L V6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive, soft top convertible, large sunroof with spare sunroof glass included, passive alarm system with remote entry. Clear title. Carfax shows 1 previous owner and no accidents (shows additional owners which are car dealers/auctions). Here's what I know is OK: The body is still in good shape, scratches and scuffs typical with a car this age, no major dents. The engine seems to run fine, recently replaced alternator, they said the battery was still very good and seemed fairly new. The transmission and clutch seem to be fine, easy shifting, no noticeable noises or issues. Decent tread on all 4 tires and spare. Soft top is in good condition overall, plastic windows are somewhat cloudy and probably just need a good cleaning, there is a small rip/separation on 1 of the side windows at the seam of the plastic and roof. Radio seems to work fine, I have not tried the cassette player. Interior is in good condition but does have some age wear. Here are the issues that I am aware of: Check engine light is on and will need 2 sensors replaced. Exhaust system needs work, there is exhaust noise, and a smell from the putty that was used when someone tried to repair it. The front CV joints/boots need to be replaced. There is rust on the frame. There is a crack in the windshield on the passenger side lower corner. The rear passenger side tire is slightly low in pressure, may just need some air or possible replacement, the car did not come with the key for the wheel locks. Again, this is what I can see and what I have been told, and may or may not be a complete assessment of the good things and the issues, so it is being sold AS-IS and DOES NEED WORK.
