Here it is a very nice original well preserved 1963 Buick Skylark(not Special)Convertible(Skylark worth 50 percent more money than Special go to nadaguides.com classic cars to see.This excellent example is one of 10,212 built that year and one of 3800 with this engine option.A little history on this car,This Buick was purchased brand new at Jennings Buick in Cinncinati,Ohio and delivered to its new lady owner on September 23,1963 the car is equipped as follows:215/200 HP Aluminum V8 Engine with 4BBL Carb,P/S P/B,2 speed Turbine path Automatic Transmission.AM radio Vinyl Bucket Seats and Power Convertible Top the paint is Glacier Blue with a white top and blue interior.A month after the car was purchased the owner moved to central Florida.Five years later the car was sold to a US Air Force Officer(Department of Defense Decal still on the windshield)this man owned the car and remained in Central Florida until his death in 2003.The car was then inherited by his son and came down to Lake Worth Florida the son owned the car until 2010 when i purchased it.This car has always been garage kept and has virtually no rust just some very small surface spots but no rust thru.Unlike many other cars that i have seen and you as well,that have bubbling,sheet metal and fiberglass work bondo and other body fillers,this car is rock solid.Solid Floors,solid undercarrige,solid frame,rocker panels,trunk,hood etc.The body is arrow straight everything lines up and this car appears to have never been in an accident.The glass is excellent and all original no chips or cracks all of the chrome and pot metal is all original and bright and shiny.The seats are all original and have never been recovered and are in great condition as are the carpets and door panels.The Convertible top was just replaced in Aug 2014 as the old top was the original new pads also installed and convertible boot included.The car has the original spare that still holds air with original jack and lug wrench.The car has good tires original wheel covers new belts,new fuel pump,hoses,battery.Includes the original owners manuals and shop manuals and records.The car has 48,761 original miles although shows exempt on the title because in Florida cars over 10 years old are printed on the title as such,but from the receipts that i have for service work over the years the mileage corresponds,and just by looking at this car it shows.The title is a clean title in my name.If you are looking for an early 1960s Convertible at an affordable price.Make a fair and reasonable offer and this great American Classic can be yours.Any Questions you can contact me directly at 954-579-9745.
