I have for sale  an extremely rare, original, and 99 percent rust free 1970 Dodge Charger 500. This Charger is all numbers matching with the original 383 2 barrel big block, 727 Torque flight automatic transmission, and 2.76:1 posi rear. The car does have a 4 barrel carburetor and intake manifold on it at this time, and comes with a factory date code correct 70 4 barrel intake manifold as well. This Charger is very highly optioned, having the following factory options:  Air conditioning, power front disc brakes, rallye suspension with front sway bar, power steering, rear window defroster, tinted glass, vinyl deluxe bucket seats and console, clock, wheel lip moldings, W23 road wheels, B5 Bright blue metallic paint with matching interior color, white vinyl top, hood-mounted turn indicators, hidden headlights, oil pressure gauge, light group package, roof drip moldings, rear bumper guards, door edge guards, and day/night rear view mirror. All of these options are verified through the original data tags on the car and through the build sheet, which was found under the rear seat. This Charger was a one-owner car until 22 years ago when it was sold and put in storage. The car was discovered this spring and has been brought back to running condition. The motor was flushed and had three oil changes before it was driven. The motor has great compression across all 8 cylinders and runs well. The motor was rebuilt before put in storage and has a mild cam in it. A new fuel tank and fuel sending unit were also installed this spring and a new brake master cylinder.  The undercarriage, floor pans, and trunk pan are 100 percent rust free, with some slight surface rust on top of the trunk pan. The only rust on the car is a few pinholes in the bottom of the driver’s rear quarter. The factory undercoating has protected the rest of the car. Included with the sale of the car is a brand new AMD passenger rear quarter panel, rear valance with the two end cap pieces, right rear quarter inner wheel house, and door jamb.  Also included in the sale is the original AM radio and the very hard to find rear plastic taillight housing cover in excellent condition. The headlight doors, headlights, taillights, dome light and gauge lights all work. The odometer, speedometer, and the rest of the gauges work except the temperature gauge, but some do not read accurately. The clock is not working , the fan blower motor is not working, the horn is not working, the directional just need a bulb and new flasher relay. The windshield wipers and cigarette lighter do work. Windshield is broken. The air conditioning compressor and condenser are missing, but all connection points are still intact. We had high hopes of restoring this iconic classic, but do not have the time to do it now.
