You can see several videos. click on below links. (these are utube videos) Riviera GS 1967 exterior Riviera GS 1967 exterior from earlier this year Riviera GS 1967 interior Riviera GS 1967 trunk details Riviera GS 1967 engine running details read the folllowing article from hemmings for some good to know facts about the GS. 1966-67 Buick Riviera GS hemmings article Car Painted last year in November with Single Stage Paint. Car is in Black and polished to a high gloss Body was block sanded to get any door dings etc out as black paint shows all flaws. Was originally White with green vinyl top. This is the GS model with switch pitch auto trans. Posi track rear. Engine bay and trunk painted and detailed. Engine was rebuilt 25 years ago and parked in inside storage. Has about 500 miles on the rebuild (and about 100 in my recent work with new cam and lifters ). Car is solid and reliable. Have done the following since I have had it. Have receipts for all parts installed and pictures of the work done. All electrics work except clock and one drivers side rear window and wash wiper spray. 1. Painted in November 2013. Using paint supplies from Eastwood. 3 coats Epoxy, 8 coats high build primer (block sanded), 8 coats single stage Boulevard black. Wet sanded and buffed to final finish. (Painted with many coats to allow for future paint polishing and correction of any new scratches you may acquire)2. converted to HEI distributor . New unit from TA performance.rebuilt Oil pump with kit from TA performance. (new gears and backing plate).3. New TA 212 cam installed plus hydraulic lifters and new timing chain and gears (has approx 25 to 30 more horse power)4. New plugs and wires.5. New regulator.6. New waterpump.7. New batter and Starter motor.8. Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel has been rebuilt using kit from quadrajet parts.9. All brakes have been adjusted and bled and work very will. Master cylinder was rebuilt. Brake shoes have about 25% life left in them.10. All new belts and hoses, fluids all changed (anti freeze, oil, trans, brake fluids). New thermostat, PCV valve. New front seal on timing cover. NOTE: in previous rebuild engine was bored .03 over and new rings etc installed plus valves. Also prior owner mentioned the rear end was also rebuilt and new exhaust installed. (that was 25 years ago prior to storing it away).also some of the pics I posted are older and may not show all the trim installed. And the one of the engine is also an older pic and does not show some recent cleanup i have done. There are videos of this car on utube and I can send up some if you need to here it run. Car is extremely fun to drive (you will have to resist not doing burnouts at every stop light) and has an awesome sound with the new cam. Pretty much nothing to do on the car if you want to use it as a daily driver or weekend cruise car. I have all the chrome trim that i took off if you want to install a vinyl top. Also have the original points distributor and wires and chrome wheel well arches which i did not put back as they have a few dings. I have the original single door mirror with the car. (right now it has two door mirrors installed from a newer buick). Engine heads appear to be from a 1969 year based on my research. The bumpers have some pitting and could do with a rechrome or polishing but look good from a few feet away. The trunk area I have detailed and installed new carpet. Also painted it and treated some minor rust with POR 15. the interior is very presentable and I was planning on replacing it with all back but then decided not to as I feel the original has some history in it and looks good as is in my opinion. Its not perfect but pretty good shape. All gauges work except clock. I added a sunpro after market tac as these cars dont come with a tac. I also have a new heater control cable. I replaced one of the heater cables. All heat and vents work. Car has AC but is not charged. The gearbox from what I read about these cars is bullet proof and I can say that it shifts like a new car. it has Drive, L1 and L2 gears. Also the car has cornering lights which go on when you take left or right turns. AM radio and antenna works so does the remote trunk release which i think is vacum operated from a button in the glove box. If you want a car that is a head turner this one is it. I have seen other 66 and 67 Rivs in different colors but nothing catches attention like a mirror like black finish with an equally monster like sound to the engine. On Oct-02-14 at 17:20:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Some recent updates. Someone questioned that this is not a GS. Correct I do not have the Star wars type air cleaner. It was probably sold on by previous owner. I have checked to see if other parts are consistent with the GS. The Transmission does have a horse shoe shaped stamped into the transmission pan. The rear diff has a aluminum tag that says something about a limited Diff. I think thats the same as a posi rear. Also I do have the original user manual and the metal tags of the original owner with the protect- to plate book. Also I see a small leak on the power steering pump. b On Oct-03-14 at 18:14:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Power steering pump ordered and will be installed on Monday.
