Up for sale here I have a patina green 1947 Chevrolet 3100 short bed pickup truck with a clear KS title that matches the body tag. It was originally red and some of that is showing through the green repaint. The truck does not have an engine or trans. It is also missing the bed floor, window regulators, passenger door handle, interior door handles and the gas and brake pedals. I'm including a complete rust free passenger side door that has a window regulator as well as all of the handles. The drivers side door doesn't latch because it appears to be in the locked position and I haven't been able to get it unlocked. The truck does have rust and some filler put in during the repaint. The worst of the rust is in the front floor, cowl and kick panels of the truck which very common in these trucks. There's also rust in the cab corners, bed sides, running boards, rockers, and the lower doors. There's no rust from the seat riser back inside the cab. There's also dents in the fenders, hood, grill and tailgate. The roof is nice and straight. All the glass in the truck is in one piece and should work fine for a rat rod but has its defects like all old glass gets. The dash is all there with the factory heater underneath. This truck is an early one with the gas tank mounted under the bed instead of inside the cab and its there and appears to be in fine shape. It is missing the filler neck that takes it to the bedside. I have a newer model tank that has a filler neck that might work and that tank is included as well as some other spare parts that came with the truck when I bought it. The truck was mostly disassembled when I got it so most of the bolts that are holding it together are new. The frame of the truck is nice and solid. Overall the truck is a great rat rod project or parts truck. The truck is selling with no reserve but is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed.
