1953 chevy 1/2 ton shortbox 3100 series has nice weather aged patina. has a 6 cylinder engine with a 3 on the FLOOR. I had the motor running a few days ago by squirting gas down the carb, I dont know if the fuel pump needs to be replaced It had no fuel in the tank & i did not want to risk getting junk into the carb from the lines or tank. I used a squirt bottle with gas & i kept it running for quite some time the motor is SOLID!! just a hint of lifter tick which I am sure will go away with some rislone or marvel mystery oil & actually running it for a while!. Would make a nice rat rod or a restoration project. The windows roll up & down freely,the seat has a chunk of vinyl missing but is in GREAT structural condition. The truck does have the optional rare heater. This truck comes with an extra tailgate & an extra passenger bed side Also included is an extra roof (for chopping if you want) it has been cut below the rear window & as far down the front pillars as could be done. it comes with both sides of the windshield glass, the back glass, passenger side glass all in great non cracked condition. It has rust in all the usual places - the cab corners some on the floor mainly in the corners & the kick panel area. The doors are not rusted through also the fenders, firewall, the bed & tailgate appear strong. I have already loaded all the extra parts in the box & the glass is all boxed up & safe 2 tires have slow leaks but the truck does roll freely It comes with A FREE & CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME! I WILL BE LISTING THIS ELSEWHERE & RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY. Which I already did once! but the person failed to raise all the funds.
