1929 Ford Model A coupe. The engine # *A-2199515* was built on 8-29-29, the car was assembled in Somerville Massachusetts. This car is just as purchased in the 1970's from one of my friends whom did not have the space or the time to rebuild it. The car ran well and was driven onto a trailer. I was told the engine was rebuilt before my friend purchased it. It has been stored inside and the motor was fogged down after purchasing it. Since owning the car I have removed the plugs, sprayed the cylinders with a mixture of diesel fuel and oil, hand cranked the engine over two or three times and replaced the plugs. Some of the major parts are missing (all the lights and a most of small parts) but I think most of the sheet metal is there. I have four 19”wheels and five 21” wheels (rusted beads). The car still runs well and could be driven onto a trailer. The running boards are mostly rusted away a few small spots on the body have rusted out. Most of the holes in the fenders and body are from vibration pulling fasteners through the sheet metal. The radiator seems to be in good condition as the water level has not gone down in the radiator since I filled it in July. I am in my 70's and do not have the time to start another project. The vehicle never had a title as none is required in Vermont due to it's age. Shipping: The buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or Shipping and handling.
