2005 Volkswagen VW Jetta Starts up and runs, but there is issue with the transmission, does not shift into 3rd gear. A/C is cold, exterior in excellent shape, interior in fair shape, engine in fair shape, needs tune-up or work, and transmission is not shifting. Good opportunity for right person to restore, or part out. Sold AS IS. NO reserve auction, winner takes car. On Sep-21-14 at 17:05:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I had more time to inspect can as i am selling it for the owner, some of the tires seem to be wore a little and will need replacing soon, the seal on the passenger door is leaking a little on from the top of the window, I put some tape on it. i tested the engine and it starts up without issue and doesn't stall if I rev it, the transmission can be shifted if you put it on sports mode, but won't shift on Drive. Can will drive but only in 1st gear in Drive, and 1st and 2nd in sports mode. I don't see any dents in the body.
