Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a fully restored 1985 CR250r that is race ready. The bike was disassembled down to the frame and rebuilt from the ground up. The engine was taken apart and transmission inspected for wear and reassembled, the clutch had good plates and friction plates and new springs and bolts were installed, the clutch cover - water pump housing had some minor eroding and was fixed with a high grade steel epoxy and new bearing, water and oil seal were installed, it has a hot rods rod installed with a .040" or 1 MM oversized piston and rings installed, the engine was reinstalled with all new bearings, seals, and gaskets including the main bearings and seals, the carburetor was cleaned and installed with a new UNI air filter, and boyesen reeds were installed in the intake. a new DG pipe was added with the existing DG silencer which was re-packed, and new front and rear sprockets and O-ring chain installed. The frame and sub-frame were stripped and powder coated, the seat has a new seat cover installed, the front and rear fenders and radiator shrouds are new UFO plastic and the side plates are Maier's plastic, it has renthal bars with a new clutch perch, lever, and cable, the brake master cylinder was cleaned up and new hydraulic brake line and lever were installed, and a new throttle assembly with existing throttle cable was installed, the swing arm and linkage were checked for wear and re-lubricated on assembly, as was the rear shock, the front and rear wheels were taken apart where the rims were polished, the hubs were stripped and painted with new bearings and seals installed, the rims were laced to the hubs with Buchanan SS spokes, and new Dunlop tires and tubes installed, new EBC brake pads and shoes were also installed. This bike is in excellent condition as the pictures speak for themselves and it has only been run one time since re-build to make sure everything was working properly at which time the gas was emptied out of the tank. All the winning bidder will need to do is set the race sag on the suspension to there liking, add gas, maybe adjust the jetting to your area, and go win races. The winning bidder will need to arrange for their own shipping and I will be able to store the bike while the shipping is scheduled. This bike does not have a title but will come with a bill of sale for the bike. I will contact the winning bidder with payment options, I would rather not use paypal for the payment and the bike will not leave until payment clears.
