I'm selling my 1975 Mini with 1275 engine. (Big engine) The car has 'just" been restored with LOTS of new parts and an overhauled engine and transmission. The car runs and drives Great! I imported the car from Germany and had it restored and rebuilt here in the US. I have to sell it now due to a house purchase. The car has New special pearl paint on the roof and metallic Blue BMW paint all over (inside out) The following Parts are Brand New: (about $14k in new parts) (Total restoration cost about $19) - 4x Brand New wheels and Yokohama tires (10 miles driven) - New Disc Brake Conversion in front inclusive Brake Booster - New Brakes in Rear - New Brake Master and Slave Cylinder as well as Clutch Cylinder. - New Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines - New Upholstery - New Roof Liner - New Mirrors - New Door Hardware and Panels - New Battery - New Wiring Loom - New Carpet - New Windshield - New Seat Belts - Almost All Chrome Parts are Brand New (including door handles etc.) - New Short Shifter (makes the shifting super fast but also a bit harder) - New Sport Manifold - New Sport Exhaust "RC 40" - New Steering Rack - New Adjustable Hilos, Struts, Camber, Knuckle joints etc. - New Headlights and Signals - Clean Bumper in front ( i still have a new Bumper and many other spare parts) - New Wheel arches - and a whole lot more.... The Engine has: - New Clutch - New Piston Rings - New Bearings - New Oil Center Pickup - New Gaskets - New Valve Seats - New Spark Plugs, Cables, Distributor, - New Radiator - New Water pump - and much more The car was imported through the port of Los Angeles and has a Clean German title, a bill of sale and customs documents (bill of sale and customs documents in my name). All port fees and duties are paid. The car just has to be registered (please pay attention to your local state requirements I will not be responsible for the registration in your state) I heard that Cars from 1975 are smog exempt in California I was able to legally import it with no problems with customs or EPA upon import. The Speedometer shows 32830km. If you have never owned a Mini like this, then kindly read up on it and understand that they are a ton of fun but have their own quirky flaws and are by all means not perfect. The car is almost 40 years old in its design and technology. The car needs to be broken in with the overhauled engine and afterwards fine tuned and aligned (I only test drove it for 10 miles). It is perfectly drive able as of right now and I encourage every buyer to come buy and test drive it.
