Up for sale here I have an original old 1952 Chevrolet 3100 short bed patina project truck that was put out to pasture many years ago. It is very complete missing mainly the carb, air cleaner, front valance, drivers side hood emblem and passenger side window. The truck has what I was told is a 58 235 inline 6 with the 4 speed on the floor. I'm sure the engine has locked from sitting for so long but I haven't checked. The engine is missing the carb and air cleaner. The truck was originally a blue one with the spare tire carrier on the drivers side. The doors and hood open and close like they should and the hinges keep the hood up when you want it up. The hood ornament fits the hood well but I don't know what it originally came on. The truck has all the typical rust in the floors, kick panels, lower cowl, running boards, cab corners and a small amount in the fenders. The frame is in good shape. The roof is nice and straight. The truck has dings and dents all around from years of use. The top of the bedsides back near the tailgate are dent in by the stake pocket opening but the tailgate will open and close and it could be straightened out some. The drivers side cowl has a crease down it from the door getting blown around by wind but it opens and closes nice. All the interior parts are there and accounted for. I have a lid for the battery box even though its not pictured. The bottom seat spring is in rough shape. The yellow hood and drivers fender that may be in some of the pics are not included. The truck has a clear kansas title that matches the body tag but somewhere along the way it was titled as a 49 Chevrolet 3100 (same body style just no wing windows). The truck is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed. Truck is selling with no reserve.
