Nice looking 4 speed 1962 Greenbrier that starts right up and runs good. When it was hesitant to start I had the van worked on by a specialty corvair mechanic "Mel's Vairmart" in Santa Clara and since then she starts and runs fine. Cruises at 80 mph no problem.Previous owner said it's an upgraded engine (110 hp), I believe he said a 1964 or 65 model engine. Generator replaced with alternator. Dual carbs. Electronic ignition. I apologize I don't have a picture of the engine right now. Vehicle is at my folks' home near Fresno, CA. And I have a few pieces that go with it in Modesto/CA - *2 good condition upholstered bench seats (front seat has pretty bad tears)*Proper engine cover (blue to match)Some minor chips and scratches, a torn up front seat from so much use and the notorious oil leak.Also could use some new rubber door and window liners. A bit of rust coming through on a rear corner near bumper from a less than perfect fix. I don't have the hubcap from the pictures but I have another set of original hubcaps (7/10 condition) from my other greenbrier if get a good price. They are brushed aluminum/black with plastic blue bowtie.She might not be in perfect show winning condition but sure got a lot of attention on the pier in Pismo Beach and every day on the road. Even made it into a magazine article I heard from the previous owner that year.Clean Title! But I have her on non-op. However if you come see it you can take it for a test drive. As far as transportation, you can get a temporary registration/insurance and drive her home or arrange for shipping. She is a good driver and has served me well on long trips.
