Vehicle Detail
You are viewing a collector-owned/always garaged 1971 Oldsmobile Delta-88 4 Door Hardtop with only 84K original miles in AMAZING condition! OPTIONS/EQUIPMENT: - 350 CID "rocket" V-8 - Air conditioning (works!) - AM radio (original and working!) - Factory front vinyl floor mats - Full bench cloth seats - Full vinyl top - Factory-installed full-width body side moldings - 4-brand new whitewall radial tires in correct factory size BODY: - Extremely hard to find rust-free car with no evidence of ever having any prior rust repairs. - Super straight body with no dents/dings (only slight push on lower part of header above front bumper (see pics)) with recent repaint in factory-correct original metallic dark green paint - Chrome in SHOW condition with both bumpers being completely rust/pit/corrosion free!! (Very unusual for this body style) - Full black vinyl top has only minor fading/wear on top INTERIOR: - ALL ORIGINAL green brocade cloth interior is in FANTASTIC shape - no rips/tears or worn places anywhere on seats!! - Minor sun fading on upper door panel plastic (common/typical for this model in this color) but no cracks/rips/tears - Carpets and headliner are fantastic - Dash has no cracks or damage - Steering wheel has one minor crack on outer rim (see pics) - Rear deck package tray has some warping from a minor rear window water leak many years ago (since fixed -trunk is solid) MECHANICAL: - All original 350 CID "rocket" V-8 with newly rebuilt carb runs/drives nice with lots of power (some minor exhaust noise at manifold gasket) - Recent tune-up/wires/plugs/belts/fluid change etc. - All lights/accessories work (including original AM radio!) - AC system recently serviced and blows cold! - Smooth riding with tight/responsive steering - No leaks There are not many of these full-sized early 70s cruisers left and certainly few in this kind of stock condition with the great GM hardtop styling (no posts when all windows are down). A rare piece of automotive history. The car is available for inspection/viewing before bidding so please ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. Please also note that the car is in Northern Kentucky near the Cincinnati airport so you should check on costs/prices of any necessary shipping BEFORE you bid. If you bid, you are agreeing to pay ALL of my ebay listing/fees if you win the auction but then do not go through with the final purchase for ANY reason. This is a 40-plus year old car and is not a 100 point show car nor is it being held out as such. I am a private collector (NOT a dealer) so there is no warranty, express or implied. The car is sold as is where is. Thanks!
